Purim is the most festive of Jewish holidays, a time of prizes, noisemakers, costumes and treats. The Festival of Purim commemorates a major victory over oppression and is recounted in the Megillah, the scroll of the story of Esther. This year Purim begins at sunset on Wednesday March 7th
The oldest custom of Purim is the sending of food, especially sweets to friends and the poor. Fruits, various baked goods, wine and other goodies are delivered in decorated baskets and plates. A specially baked triangle cookie called Hamantashen filled with poppy seeds, prunes, fruit and other fillings are the pastry of the season.

Come to The Bakery for your Apricot, Raspberry,  Chocolate, Poppy and Prune Hamantashen.  Also try our Mini-Hamantoshen.

Or order online.
